The business law firm Spark Avocats is advising BuyCo in its new fundraising round with the decarbonization fund for the maritime sector managed by Bpifrance, alongside its historical investors, including Impact Océan Capital, managed by GO CAPITAL, and Sud Mer Invest, supported by Banque Populaire du Sud.
The Spark Avocats team, led by Ariane Olive, Florian Mayor, and Guilhem Sauve, has been assisting its long-time client BuyCo in this new fundraising effort.
Founded in 2015 in Marseille by Carl Lauron, BuyCo has revolutionized the maritime transport sector by creating a collaborative digital platform that simplifies and optimizes container shipping on an international scale.
BuyCo currently serves around fifty large industrial clients worldwide and manages nearly one million containers per year.
This fundraising will enable BuyCo to continue its commercial acceleration and develop new features for its platform.
BuyCo aims to accelerate its growth in Europe, North America, and Asia, expand its offering through new features, and intensify its support for clients in decarbonizing their container shipments.
